FUE Hair Transplant
In a hair transplant using the FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction), individual follicular units are removed using a hollow needle in the area of the hair ring. For this purpose, the removal area is usually shaved short, with small amounts of grafts; the head hair can be left long. Since the removal is not done by a scalpel, but gently with a hollow needle with a diameter of about 0.65 to 1.0 mm, there is no significant bleeding in the hair transplantation. Before the transplant, the hair roots are examined under the microscope for damage. For the patient, the FUE method means a particularly natural result.
Before the doctor selects the most suitable method of hair transplantation for the patient, he analyzes the existing hair situation in a personal consultation. The FUE transplantation is especially suitable for patients who like to wear their hair short (shorter than 0.5 mm).
The following advantages are brought to the patient by an FUE hair transplant:
- For the removal of the hair roots as well as for the hair transplantation with the FUE technique no cut and thus no seam are necessary.
- Procedure of hair transplantation with FUE
- Local anesthesia and removal of hair follicle groups with a thin hollow needle
- Microscopic control of hair roots
- Transplanting the hair follicle groups into the smallest implantation channels on the treatment area
- Control of the result on density and exact placement of hair transplants
